The goal should not be to raise more taxes. The goal should be to shift the tax burden away from homeownership and toward activities that are voluntary while ensuring our schools and local governments remain properly funded.
However, finding replacement revenue is only half the conversation.
Ohio taxpayers deserve far greater transparency into where their tax dollars actually go.
